Role
I started volunteering in January 2016 for various shifts. In the fall of 2016, I was asked to take over as Dinner Server Coordinator, where I oversee the volunteers with setup, serving, and cleanup of dinner service. In the spring of 2017, I was asked to be a Site Leader. In this role, I oversee the site from setup and am on call overnight if any issues arise.
As a volunteer position, it provides me the opportunity to work with other volunteers from diverse backgrounds and ages, and continue to develop my leadership skills in training, risk management, problem-solving, and organization.

PADS Shelters provide safe, overnight shelter, a hot dinner and breakfast, and a to-go lunch every day.
